David Garibaldi's Tower of Power, Zildjian 10" A Series Splash Cymbal 1970's, 234g (DG Z Set 3 #1)
David Garibaldi has retired from Tower of Power! David's innovative grooves propelled the band and helped define their unique funky sound. After an amazing 55 year run, he's putting away his Tower of Power sticks.
His ground breaking work with Tower of Power and his long list of instructional books and videos, have established him as one of the most influential drummers of our time.
This splash cymbal is one of the earliest of David's Tower of Power cymbal collection. This early 1970s Zildjian 10" splash cymbal was part of David Garibaldi's Tower of Power cymbal collection going way back to their most prolific hit making period in the 1970s. Judging from the live photos we've found of Tower ofPower during this era, it does not appear to have been used in David's live set up. Maybe it was just used in the studio. Regardless, it's a great sounding cymbal and a very attainably priced piece of David's history going back to his early years with Tower of Power.
The cymbal remains in excellent condition with no notable issues. No cracks, dents or key-holing. A truly classic sounding splash cymbal.
Weight: 234 Grams
