Recently serviced Tascam 38. The heads and pinch roller are in excellent shape on this machine. The only cosmetic flaws are that it's missing the tape path guard, the Tascam decal on the head cover, and the feet for the bottom. The left side of the head cover is a tad loose and does come out of the plastic hinge socket when lifted but does snap and stay into place when closed. Service work included cleaning each channel card and re-soldering cold solder joints, tape-guide tension roller arms calibrated/adjusted, and calibration for SM911 1/2" tape.

This is being sold as-is because the nature of shipping something as fragile as tape machines. It will be securely packaged and double-boxed.
