David Garibaldi has retired from Tower of Power! David's innovative grooves propelled the band and helped define their unique funky sound. After an amazing 55 year run, he's putting away his Tower of Power sticks.

His ground breaking work with Tower of Power and his long list of instructional books and videos, have established him as one of the most influential drummers of our time. David has been a prominent artist and endorser for Sabian Cymbals since the mid 1990s.

These Sabian 12" hi hats were part of David's personal cymbal collection. Used in performances with Tower of Power throughout the 2000s. They're well used, but they're still in great shape. Lots of fingerprints and stick marks and much of the original ink has been played off. No issues. They sound super crisp. David played these hi-hats on his right as in conjunction with a set of 13s on his left.

David Garibaldi has incorporated Sabian smaller sized hi-hats, like 10", 12" and 13" models, to complement his intricate funk grooves and syncopated patterns. Their tight, focused tone provides clarity in dense musical arrangements..
