Here is a player-grade set of 1960's Gretsch drums, finished in their original rare Sunset Satin Flame! These drums are sized 14x20", 8x12", and 16x16". The 8x12" is in slightly better cosmetic condition that the other two drums, but all drums are color matched nicely. The bass drum has a center tom post and is missing its badge. There's some black overspray inside its shell near the bearing edges and a partial paper tag, both pictured. The bass drum hoops are missing quite a bit of paint, giving it an excellent road-worn vibe that we're big fans of - the type of wear that relic shops strain to achieve! These drums fit modern Remo heads a little tight, but they will seat without straining the head collars.
Steve’s notes: This is arguably the rarest Gretsch finish, second only to Cameo Coral. This set would be an incredible addition to the 12/14/18 we have listed. That 12/14/18 may be the only example in existence! This 12/16/20, combined with the 12/14/18, would give you an incredible array of sizes in this ultra rare finish. You’d have 2-8x12, a 14x14, 16x16, 14x18 and 14x20. This would be an incredibly unique set!
