Darren Hippner Bouchet 2024, #1204 - VIDEO

The guitar you can see/hear in youtube video was recorded March 2025 and is the exact same guitar that buyer will receive.

Guitar is located in Ontario, CA - where a luthier friend of mine performed the following work to bring this guitar to it's best. It does have some play wear.

Spruce/ Indian rosewood.

650mm/52mm

12th fret action --- 3.5mm low E, 3.5mm high e

I finished the Bouchet, crowned and polished the frets, cleaned up the fretboard, cleaned up the body, lightly buffed the whole instrument and stringed it  with D'Addario EJ43-3D.

1. The frets look OK, they are not polished to a mirror gloss as I was avoiding the very tops. I went over with 600, 1000, 3000 paper and then dremel with a polishing wheel.

2. The body has only one small dent and a couple of microscopic blemishes in the middle of the soundboard.

Very small abrasion on the tip of the headstock. The rest of the guitar is good.

3. Even with undertuned strings, there was no buzz on any fret. The action is solid 3.5mm on both e's, but there is room to lower the action if desired.
