Yamaha Recording Custom Series Drum Sets were first introduced in the early 1980s and immediately disrupted the entire global drum market by setting a new standard of excellence in drum making. The extreme quality in every aspect of their production left every other manufacturer scrambling to compete. Most importantly the drums sounded amazing. As a result, 1980s Yamaha Recording Custom drums are still highly prized and considered amongst the great drums ever built.
This set has been lovingly cared for and remains virtually flawless. The photos tell all. The white metallic lacquer finish has taken on a slight "Ivory" hue but remains unshipped and unscratched. Newer Evans heads all around. This set is ready to rock, straight out of the box. Includes 3x tom arm mounts, one 3 hole tom mount for the bass drum.
Made in Japan, Pre-YESS mount.
The cymbals, snare and stands in the photos are not included but available separately.
