Ludwig - 14x5" Supraphonic, 10-Lug, Trans Badge Snare Drum 1958-1959 - Chrome Over Brass
What else can be said about the Ludwig Supraphonic? It's the most popular snare drum of all time for good reason. It will sound great in literally any situation. This late 1950's, Trans Badge era Supraphonic is one of earliest, rarest and most sought after models of this legendary drum ever made. COB shell, COB hoops, rotary muffler. All original. New Remo heads and Puresound snare wires.
The drum is in fantastic condition. No extra holes. There is a slight ding on the top edge of the batter hoop that can be seen in the detail photos. The throw off works fine but is a little sticky. We shot the drum in very unflattering light that really exaggerates every little scuff. The first photo was taken in natural light that best depicts what this drum really looks like.
