1957 Fender Stratocaster Sunburst -19873

Offered for sale is this beautiful 1957 Fender Stratocaster, made in mid/late 1957. This is the perfect player's dream, with a comfortable, soft V one piece maple neck and a lightweight, contoured alder body.

The guitar features a pristine electronic assembly, with fantastic sounding original pickups.

The instrument remains completely original in every part, aside from a professional refret, leaving the original finish on the neck unaltered, and a professional finish restoration on the body. 

At some point the body was sprayed in a different color over the original finish, and upon closer inspection some small remnants of a dark red and black colors can still be seen in the cavities. A professional removal of the oversprayed colors have been performed, without bothering the original finish in the cavities, and a light clear nitrocellulose topcoat applied after the work.

Comes with tremolo arm and the original tweed hard case.
