Gibson BJB Floating Humbucker Pickup – Ultra Rare!
This is an extremely rare Gibson BJB floating humbucker, originally mounted to the pickguard on high-end models such as the Gibson Citation, Kalamazoo Award, LeGrand, Super V, and L-5 BJB.
These pickups were never offered separately by Gibson, making them highly sought after. This example is in mint condition and includes the original factory mounting bracket for attaching it to the underside of the pickguard.
Measures 14.66kΩ – a strong output for a floating humbucker, delivering warm, articulate tones ideal for jazz.
A rare opportunity to own a piece of Gibson history, with provenance from Edwin Wilson’s estate and tied to one of the rarest Gibson archtops ever produced.
