Update: this listing now includes a magnetically-attached lighting module! Dazzle your audience with blue and/or color-changing LED lights, and remove the module for practice or extended performances to optimize weight and balance.

I'm Eric F. Keebler and I've made electric violins for a quarter-century. This violin is the fourth copy of my new professional-grade Filament model, featuring a highly "acoustic" tonality (using my own pickup system) and industry-leading balance (the weight in the left hand is exceptionally low -- check out the photo of the violin balancing on a stack of books). This instrument has black stain over maple, a natural bloodwood fingerboard and nut, and a tung-oil finish. In addition to the volume and tone knob, the timbre is finely-adjustable via five small trim-pots underneath the lower bout; these change the blend and tonalities of the pickup elements inside the bridge, allowing you to customize the violin's sound to best match your preferences and equipment. The circuitry is completely passive and does not require the use of a preamp or equalizer when connecting to a standard guitar amplifier, and the sound can be processed with guitar pedals or other effects (check out the video of Michael Shulman playing his Filament, which is the same as this one except for having a black fingerboard, a linseed-oil finish, and guitar-strap connectors). Shipping will be by USPS Registered Mail, which is slow but extremely safe and fully-insured. Your questions are welcome.
