This is the Vito-branded Yamaha YAS-23, the most popular student saxophone of all-time. These horns play amazing. Known for their build quality and minimal maintenance needed. This one plays right along with a pro horn I own, to the point where I wonder why I bought a pro horn to start with. Candidly, I'm not thrilled about letting this one out the door but life's priorities change.
Horn is in great shape. Just serviced, cleaned, and polished. Virtually ding and dent free. There is some lacquer wear and fine lacquer scratches on the inside part of the horn that lays against your leg (pictured) and a subtle mark or two elsewhere on the horn. Otherwise, it is in terrific condition and ready to play.
Includes a Buffet Crampon Paris mouthpiece, ligature, mouthpiece cap, Rigotti Gold reed, and neck strap. Case is in great shape.
This will last a beginner and intermediate player a long, long time. Don't believe the stories about needing to upgrade until you've been playing regularly for years.
