Here is a VERY RARE Kohlert and Sons metal oboe. While metal clarinets are commonplace, metal oboes are quite rare, and this is a fine example of a high-end metal oboe. The Kohlert commitment to quality is apparent in this instrument.
This oboe plays very well as is. It has just been through the shop and had a full adjustment from top to bottom and is ready to play.
