This is a Vintage, late 80's, made in England - Marshall 3203
Artist 30 Watt Tube/Hybrid Guitar Amplifier Head. If you're not familiar
with these amps do some checking online as these are great sounding,
very sought after amp heads. These amps feature a solid state preamp
section with a single ECC83/12AX7 phase inverter tube and a EL34 tube
driven 30 watt amplifier section. This amp has a clean channel and a
footswitchable boost/gain channel, footswitch included as seen in the
pics. The amp also has an effects loop. Everything works as it should and there are no issues
that I'm aware of. Feel free to ask any questions before buying or making an offer. Check the pics for the amps cosmetic condition, it's very clean for it's age, no rips or tears in the tolex.
*I just put in all NEW tubes, Tung Sol 12AX7 tube in preamp and a matched pair of Tung Sol EL34B
in the power section ($70.00 in NEW tubes) so they will not need replacing for quite a while!
This Artist 3203 sounds great and these were designed to be very similar in tone to the JCM800's but at a controllable volume. You will see that in reviews on these amps and how most people rave about them. These amps blow any recent Marshall solid state amps out of the water hands down. I'm only selling this because I just need to thin out my amp collection.
