Great example of an early 90's Jazzmaster, in the rare first iteration of Fender Japan's Burgundy Mist Metallic (BMT) finish, with matching headstock. Approximately 120 were produced for the Japanese market. Manufactured at the FujiGen factory in Japan.
100% fully functional.
Condition
Cosmetically the 30 year old instrument is in good shape, with a handful of dings, scratches, and finish wear commensurate with age. Typical finish cracks at neck pocket. Finish checking on forearm contour. Headstock edges have some minor chips in the clear coat.
Chrome hardware has patina. Pickguard has pick markings from play.
Back and sides of neck is in good shape with a few dings. Some finish chipping on the edge of the fretboard around the seventh fret.
The slender vintage-spec frets have wear, primarily in the open chord area beneath the unwound strings, lessening as it progresses up to the twelfth fret. While worn, it currently plays with little to no buzzing with normal action.
