






This is a vintage 1980 DY55 Yairi made in Japan. It has upgraded Gotoh locking tuners, and tusq bridge pins.
Also has a brass tone plate as shown in the last pic. This is something that bluegrass players add to get a little more volume out of their guitars, it also protects the wood bridge plate from being torn up from string changes. It can be removed if you want but I think it sounds beautiful with it. The guitar is structurally sound and plays and sounds great. It does have plenty of real wear from being played for many years. Comes with gator hard case and original tuners.
