Crate BV112V 8Ω Custom Extension Cabinet Loaded w/ FANE Medusa150

In my opinion, the most underrated extension cabs you can buy, if you can find them.

There are 2 available.

These were originally blue voodoo extension cabs for the blue and gold BV combos and were loaded with 8Ω Celestion V30s. I painted them and changed the corners out to match the GX series. When the Fane was added, I added the 3D printed Fane badge.

With its 20"L x 12"W x 17"H dimensions, these extensions cabs were designed to be both articulate and mid/bottom heavy.

This is a powerhouse extension cabinet able to take the full brunt of most amplifier heads and the medusa, while being dark, also projects well and its presence can be felt among larger cabinets.

This cab was upgraded. The 4 wood screws that crate used to mount the V30s were replaced by 8 machined allen screws with machine threaded T-nuts on the inside. (Allen screws were chosen because an allen head won't allow a screw gun tip to slip out and puncture the speaker cone like a philips head can)

There is no removable back so the speaker can only be front mounted. This provides a perfect marriage of resonance and air space to handle drop tunings.
