Overview

Yamaha's L Series started in 1984 with the aim of making custom hand-built flattop acoustic guitars available to a wide audience.

The Yamaha LS-400 featured a concert style body using a Spruce top and solid Mahogany back and sides, with snowflake inlays on a bound Ebony fingerboard. Body binding and clear pickguards appeared on most models.

Years of Production: 1999 - 2003
