David Garibaldi has retired from Tower of Power! David's innovative grooves propelled the band and helped define their unique funky sound. After an amazing 55 year run, he's putting away his Tower of Power sticks.
His ground breaking work with Tower of Power and his long list of instructional books and videos, have established him as one of the most influential drummers of our time.
David Garibaldi endorsed Paiste cymbals from the 1970s through the mid 1990s. Paiste recognized his talent early on and endorsed him, providing cymbals that complemented his crisp, articulate playing style. Garibaldi’s years with Paiste are remembered as a defining era in his remarkable career.

David Garibaldi's Paiste 14" Signature Fast Crash can be seen listed in David's Modern Drummer Magazine February 1991 feature article in the "David's Kit" sidebar. One of many great small sized crashes we acquired from David. David played this cymbal well but remains in excellent condition with no notable issues.
This crash has a fast sustain, explosive attack and good clarity. Medium Bright, silvery, warm, full, transparent. Fairly narrow range, clean mix. Extremely responsive, fades fast with beautiful, dark shimmer. Suited for fast playing. Serial Number: #865546
