Fantastic, rare and highly sought 1990 PRS Limited Edition with a stunning, figured Maple Top, Grey Black Finish, Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard and featherweight semi-hollow construction and Gold Hardware.
The PRS Limited Edition was released in 1990 with production finishing in 1991 with approx 300 instruments made and each individually numbered with Paul’s Signature on the front. In a twist to the traditional PRS formula, the LTD is a semi-hollow instrument without an f-hole and offered with a choice of Maple, Cedar and Walnut Signature grade top. Hardware is gold plated throughout with PRS tuners and at the time uniquely a separate Stoptail and Bridge. The Pickups are Limited Edition uncovered PRS Vintage Bass with gold screws and polepieces wired to the 5-way rotary pickup selector knob.
The guitar is completely original and in fantastic condition, other features include a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard with Bird Inlays, a regular pattern neck with the often preferred, early small heel. Weighing in at 6.8lbs it has the effortless playability typical of PRS guitars. The guitar comes with its original PRS Case, Hangtag and original Stoptail.
