This is a rare (lot's of optional add-ons) MCI jh-636 mixing console.
I work with Brian Roth who is the best MCI tech in the nation (imho). He has been working his way thru this console to make sure it is ready to start pumping out sessions for the new owner. This console was purchased solely to be a love investment. The console is now in it's last stages of tech work/part swapping etc. and will be ready to commission with the status of "as new as we can get it".
Unlike a typical 636, this console has all vari-Q upgraded strips (the 636 could be ordered with these more expensive/extensive eqs if you were ready to pull out your checkbook). As well, this particular desk has the red mic level patchbay which you'll hardly ever see.
The desk has been thoroughly gone thru by Brian and will be set up for you to test and hear it before taking it home.
Note: the 636 will come with roughly 10 extra channels for future spares and parts...as well, it comes with an extra psu. You'll love all the balanced iron outputs on the pres during tracking. Also, this desk has the rare discrete dbx 202 gold cans in the prefade audio path and they sound fantastic (like the SSL master section comps). Yet another BONUS: The winner will also receive a $400 dollar discrete John Hardy Preamp with 990 opamp (drop in replacement)
Let me know if your interested. I just want to see this console go to a good home. I'll post new pics as I get them. The console is still currently being serviced by Brian Roth in Salina, KS.
