I've owned this guitar for several years and it has been used on stage quite a bit. I've played it alot, it plays and sounds really good.
Vintage Japanese guitar outfitted with a fishman pickup and preamp. Spruce top (solid), mahogany back and sides (probably laminated), abalone inlay, solid Grover tuners. Overall great condition for the age! Some nicks here and there but solid overall. Check out the last pic there was a small finish repair over a part of the seam. It is structurally sound however and has never given me any trouble. Recent set up and frets were crowned and polished. All in all very good Yairi, worthy of your collection. You will not be disappointed in the way is plays and sounds.
