This guitar is entirely made in Japan at the ESP factory before production was moved in 2009. It is similar in quality to an E-II with excellent manufacturing and quality parts/electronics. This makes them an attractive alternative for those who cannot access ESP’s Custom Shop. Features "open book" Gibson-style headstock.
SUMMARY: The Edwards by ESP E-I-85LP III is a signature model electric guitar designed in collaboration with Inoran, the guitarist from the Japanese band Luna Sea. This is a vintage guitar made in Japan for the Japanese market (not for export). Gotoh (Japan) hardware and HSS pickups. Fully setup and ready to play. Well-made with great tuning stability, tone, sustain and playability. Includes vintage SKB case.
CONDITION: Very good, all original (no modifications). No fret wear. See photos for detail.
WORK PERFORMED ($150 value): Fret work (set, level, crown, dress and mirror polish), fretboard cleaned/conditioned, pots and switch cleaned/lubed, nut filed/polished, new strings (D’Addario EXL120 9-42), complete setup (truss rod, action, intonation, pickup height). Guitar cleaned and lightly polished. All parts/electronics tested and fully functional.
