About This Listing

For sale is a 90s eraí«ÌÎ_Marshall Valvestate S80 Model 8240 Stereo Chorus Amp in great condition. Awesome Marshall vibe and crunch for a much more accessible price than is usual. This is a 40 watt combo amp with two channels to switch between. The clean channel is %100í«ÌÎ_solid-state with one pot for the gain and one clean/crunch select button with EQ (bass, mid, treble). The second channel can be used as OD1 or OD2 plus an EQ with presence all driven by one Marshall 12Ax7 tube. The OD1 is a fairly standard, usable heavy rock sound and the OD2 gets to be pretty crazy metal. Its loaded with two Celestion G12T speakers rated for 40 watts each. The built-in Chorus can be adjusted in speed and depth and the reverb has only one control. It also includes a parallel effects loop, left and right speakers out, and input for a two button (clean/OD - chorus on/off) footswitch. Overall this piece is in excellent condition, with the only blemishes being a missing knob for the chorus depth, some slight ripping on theí«ÌÎ_tolex corners, and some worn/rusting screws on the top of the chassis. Price does not include footswitch.
