It was really precisely cleaned.. every key, every knob taken out and cleaned in a soap.

It comes with original power supply, note stand and rare original Yamaha gigbag!

The sounds of this synth are incredible - its reallllllly really underestimated what you can do with it: multiple (jazz?) chorus intensities, vibrato, crispy pcm drums, tasty added claps for the fans of it - sort of customizable drumrythms with special drum fills made for each count.

That aside the orchestral and solo section both have great patches on both ends and can be combined - all super retro/dreampop/chiptune ish sounds and sound super sweet with any sort of delay or modulation pedal. Its from what ive heard the prototype of fm mechanisms? (If ik not mistaken).

With an original price tag of 529 pounds, it had to be special, and many reviews have argued that it was one of the most sophisticated small home keyboards at that time. 

The PS-55 was at the top of the PS range which included three smaller models – the PS-35, PS-25, and the PS-15. There was also a very unique limited-edition PS-55S, made in silver with silver-coloured keys.

The PS-55 was a quality keyboard and the design and craftsmanship reflect this well. Most are still in perfectly functioning order. It had a lot of functions so can seem complicated at first but most people will find it quite fun and novel. The sound quality is surprisingly good for a home keyboard that is now almost 40 years old. Make sure you get one with its case. In the USA the PS-55 had a molded plastic hard case that offered better protection to the more common silver soft cases.
