Waldschmidt Guitars - Sequoia Guitar (w/ 3 P90 pickups and blaster type boost)

This is a brand new Sequoia Guitar built by Waldschmidt Guitars. The guitar is a solidbody design made from reclaimed old growth giant sequoia wood (sequoia giganteum).

The sequoia tree is the largest tree in the world in both width and volume and can live to be over 3000 years old. These trees only grow naturally on the western slope of the Sierra Nevada mountains in California.

Special Considerations:

Giant sequoia (sequoia giganteum) is a softwood similar in hardness to redwood. Sequoia wood will develop cosmetic scratches and dents easier than hardwood. Some cosmetic scratches and dents should be expected with use. Pease consider this before purchasing. How the guitar is handled and used will obviously affect this.

I only use sequoia wood that is reclaimed. Due to the nature of reclaimed wood there may be staining or other visual imperfections in the wood. I think this is part of the historical appeal that comes with reclaimed wood.
