This is the listing info from Down Home Guitars when I aquired it.

Huss & Dalton's traditional flattop dreadnoughts are a bluegrass standard piece of machinery and their tone and handcrafted bench build designs are hard to beat. Big bottom, focused mids and crisp highs are standard on their TD-Rs but we upped the ante on this one with premium Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, torrefied (thermo-cured) Adirondack Red Spruce 'cooked' top and hot hide glue construction. Vintage golden era specs in a brand new guitar.

Features includes Huss & Dalton's torrefied thermo-cured aging Adirondack Spruce top, premium Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, hot hide glue construction, Adirondack scalloped bracing, Ebony bridge, pins & bound fretboard, Ivoroid body binding, heelcap and wedge, Herringbone top purfling, traditional wood and ivoroid rosette, Pearl square and diamond fretboard inlays and logo, zig zag backstrip, bone nut & through saddle, Nickel Waverly tuners with oval buttons, 1 23/32” nut, 2 7/32" saddle spacing and 25.4" scale length.

Adirondack Red Spruce is considered the 'holy grail' of top wood for it's light but stiff structure and response. It does take longer to break in that other spruces do though. Huss & Dalton's Thermo-Cured 'cooked' tops are woods that are cured at a high temperature with a process that simulates the aging process of broken in woods with that broken in tone. The wood is not stained with aging toner, this is the true color of the wood.

Brazilian Rosewood is long considered to be the most sought after tone wood by instrument builders and collectors for its exceptional tone quality and sustain as well as the beautiful color and figuring. Due to the protected nature of this rare species (Dalbergia Negra), this guitar will not be shipped internationally.
