AXL AZ820 Badwater 2001-2004 - Relic

The Badwater MJZ has a Solid Alder body and a rock maple neck, 2 overwound Alnico P-90 pickups controlled by a 3-way switch, magazines everywhere have been blown away by the sound of these pickups. Add other classic design features like a tremolo bridge, rosewood fretboard, and 25-1/2” scale length, and the MJZ delivers.

These great Badwater guitars sell as the top of the line for AXL. They are made in California in smaller quantities than the standard guitars from their dedicated plant in China. Used, they run well more than $250 so this is a bargain at $165.

These have a relic finish. Some of the marks on it are from use but they fit the motif.

I got it without the original tremolo and neck pickup cover so this is a new Guyker trem “rust colored” and a new cover.
