Serial #: 55 0004

This vintage Paramount is a cool hollow body electric built by Gretsch that will need some work to be functional. It is missing a bridge, tailpiece, and pickups. Please see our inspection notes below for a better understanding of the overall condition.

  • The headstock has a professionally repaired crack and has been refinished (the black finish). The rest of the guitar's finish is original with checking throughout.
  • The original switch and pots are included; they have not been tested.
  • The original pickups are included, but they are gutted except for the pole pieces. The neck pickup cover is glued from a break on the bass side dog ear.
  • Extra holes are drilled into the bottom end of the body.
  • The body binding is rotted which is a staple of most vintage Gretsch made guitars.
  • The frets are in nice shape with light wear.
  • The truss rod appears to be functional.
  • A couple tuning pegs are slightly bent but still functional.

Comes with an unoriginal chip board case in poor condition.
