A Rare Masterpiece: The 1930 Martin Conversion 00-42 -

Step into a world of acoustic brilliance with this exquisitely crafted 1930 Martin Conversion 00-42, available now at Haggerty’s Music. This extraordinary instrument is a tribute to the timeless artistry of Martin guitars, painstakingly restored and refined to perfection. This exceptional instrument retains its original 1930s charm with only two modifications - a new premium torrified Adirondack spruce top (Grade 8), and upgraded Golden Age relic nickel tuning machines.

Vintage Excellence Meets Modern Precision -

This guitar features a top made from premium torrified Adirondack spruce, scalloped 1/4” Adirondack spruce braces, and breathtaking Brazilian rosewood back and sides, delivering unparalleled tonal depth and resonance. Every detail, from the Style 42 abalone pearl rosette to the antique white binding, speaks of craftsmanship that transcends eras. Due to the saddle height on the bridge having been shaved all the way down, Martin luthiers had to do a neck reset and replace the fingerboard on this classic guitar.

Feel the Heritage -

The neck, shaped in an authentic 1930s style, boasts genuine mahogany and a slotted, square-tapered headstock. Its ebony fingerboard, adorned with Style 42 abalone snowflake inlays, provides both comfort and a luxurious visual appeal. The fingerboard width of 1 7/8” at the nut and 2 5/16” at the 12th fret offers a perfect balance for intricate playing styles.

Designed for Discerning Musicians -

With solid German nickel silver frets, Golden Age relic nickel side-mount tuners, and a vintage-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, this guitar bridges old-world elegance with modern playability. The bridge features a long saddle and bone components, ensuring flawless intonation and sustain.

One-of-a-Kind Sound and Style -

The 00-42 conversion is more than a guitar—it’s a piece of history reborn. Whether you’re a collector or a passionate player, this instrument’s warm tones, responsive dynamics, and rich projection will inspire creativity every time you pick it up.

Exclusive at Haggerty’s Music -

This is your chance to own a true masterpiece, available exclusively at Haggerty’s Music. Come and experience the soul of this guitar—it’s not just a purchase; it’s an investment in legacy.
