Gibson Custom SG Standard Maple Top finished in dark cherry, 1 of only 50 made in 2017. This SG features a solid mahogany neck and back with a maple top. "Slim C" neck profile feels perfect. Not super slim like a 61, it has a little more beef. Tortoise shell pickguard. The wood figuring on this maple cap is awesome, which is most likely the reason Gibson used this EXACT guitar for photographs for the promotion of its initial release! I have pics from the Gibson website back in 2017 if you're interested. This guitar originally came with black knobs which I replaced with reflectors, and a poker chip with white font that I replaced with gold font. Both the original knobs and poker chip are included in the case. I bought this SG brand new in 2017 and it's still in great condition. There's a little bit of wear on the bass side of the bridge, and a tiny chip in the finish along the headstock. No structural issues whatsoever. No buckle rash, or mods of any kind besides the cosmetics I've listed. Guitar has never been gigged, I've mostly used it for recording. Equipped with custom buckers that sound fantastic.
