I bought it in 2008 from Phil Winfield at Maverick Music. It has very light finish checking that doesn't really show up in photos. It's very subtle. It has a normal middle of the road Gibson 50's neck carve. (I can measure it if you like.) It's all original (apart from a superb refret), down to the tuners, which usually are long gone on guitars from the 50s. No breaks or repairs or touch ups. It weighs just under eight pounds according to my bathroom scale. The pickups do that thing with P90's from the 50s, where once you get down to around 7 on the volume controls, they take on a more mid-scooped, almost acoustic quality. Volume full up, they growl. It plays wonderfully.
