His ground breaking work with Tower of Power and his long list of instructional books and videos, have established him as one of the most influential drummers of our time.
David's first drum set was an early 1960s Slingerland 4 piece. He still owns the set. He purchased this chrome 8 lug Slingerland snare to replace the set's original snare which had gone missing. This snare is the same model and in great condition, but it just didn't sound the like remembered his first snare. sounding. He's letting this one go and his hunt continues.
