Here we have a Fender Mustang from 1966. Lotta mojo on this one. This guitar sounds great and feels super comfortable to play. The neck sits nicely in the hand. It has been setup by a professional luthier, from action all the way down to the tremolo spring tension. The pickups have been swapped for some mustang reproduction pickups. They sound like classic mustang pickups and feel very versatile, can play many different styles from jazz all the way to grunge. The original capacitors are still soldered into the circuit. The tremolo is the nicest trem i’ve played, its very gentle and smooth feeling. The tension on it adjusted very nicely. As for originality this guitar is all original minus the pickups, pots, tuners and pick guard. There are some dents on the body due to its age. The body is refined in daphne blue nitrocellulose. All else is original.
