This is a 2006 814CE Limited Edition Madagascar Rosewood back and sides with Sitka Spruce top Grand Auditorium. Features Taylor's X-Bracing which was known for a full range of lows to crystal highs.
Madagascar Rosewood has been closely compared to Brazilian Rosewood for it's tonal characteristics though at far less cost. However due to it's growth in popularity for higher end guitars, availability of Madagascar has tightened and it is becoming more difficult to obtain.
Appointments include an abalone rosette around the sound hole, maple binding around the body, neck, and head stock.
Near mint condition, I keep it in the case when not playing, and I've had 10's on it for some time now as I prefer them for my style of play.
