This Special Edition of the famous Manuel Adalid Catedral X Anniversary guitar is a one of a kind instrument. Cedar Double top with rare 200 year old Rose de Bois back and sides.
Hand made in Valencia, Spain, by Master Luthier Manuel Adalid.
Lead time for this guitar is normally 3 – 4 months but we have just received this amazing guitar in our shop.
Master Luthier Manuel Adalid at Guitarras Estevé in Valencia Spain is one of Spain’s most well known and innovative guitar makers. At the top of his career Manuel has developed La Catedral X Anniversary guitar.
This special edition of Mr. Adalid's La Catedral is quite simply the best guitar we have ever had in our shop at Calido Guitars. The Cedar/Spruce double top is amazingly balanced and responsive. One professional player has said, “This guitar has the best sounding trebles I have ever heard.” The Catedral has superb tone, excellent projection and wonderful playability. The trebles are clear and bright and truly sing as they are played.
The solid Rose de Bois (a rare true rosewood from Madagascar, but a different species than Madagascar rosewood) back and sides are lined with solid Spruce in a truly unique construction that accounts for the superb tone and projection of La Catedral X Anniversary.
Manuel Adalid says that he has modified the bracing in this guitar very slightly to improve the sound to be even better than his famous Catedral X Anniversary guitar.
French polished top, nitro lacquer back/sides, Perona Tuning machines, Knobloch carbon mid tension strings, Deluxe Estevé hardshell case.
