I love Di Giorgio and Giannini guitars from Brazil, particularly during this time in the 1970’s. A lot of experienced guitar players who have seen a lot of different guitars have at one point or another picked up a Giannini and just thought “ahhhhhh.....that‘s nice.” I think a good nylon string guitar should mellow you out, slow you down, and simplify your ideas in ways that helps you organize them. This guitar has that nice soothing mellow soul to it that does that for you. You’re still who you are playing any guitar, but a good guitar like a good therapy dog can help you be who you intend to be and who’s best for you to be. This is an original Gold Label. This guitar is stunning to play, I absolutely love it. It’s a gorgeous instrument. I’ve had a number of guitars from Brazil in over the years, and this is up there with the nicest of them that I've played from the Di Giorgio Giannini world of guitars. It plays like a dream with really nice action, it feels very soft and responsive to the touch. The tone is gorgeous, the back and sides with that rich and dark rosewood add some beautiful complexity and depth to the tone. It’s a bit smaller and more comfortable guitar compared to a lot of other classical guitars, but it has incredible dimension in the sound. It plays beautifully all up and down the neck, the frets are nice and even, it stays in tune for days, it feels wonderful and inspiring to play, it’s got the whole package! 

I love this type of condition that the guitar is in, I love guitars with honest play wear. The best ones with the most songs in them have some miles on them. There's scratches and checking and all that throughout, but it's such great player and it sounds so nice. The saddle is all the way down, but it has some good time left in it before it will need any more work. The label on the inside looks really good! There was a repaired crack along the center seam of the top, someone did that before me and they did a good job. There's were a few hairline cracks in the Brazilian rosewood on the sides (Brazilian rosewood always cracks), but they were repaired and it is a very healthy guitar with a really perfect sound and feel. The finish has the crazing that is typical of South American guitars, they always crack like tempered glass into unique patterns. This guitar is all about soul and feel over anything else, and this one has soul for days. Great songwriter and a beautiful companion!
