Circuit Bent Push-to-Talk NOS Dynamic CB Microphone w/Filter Control-Lo Fi Mic by Statikstramentz

This is a Vintage Dynamic Element CB Microphone made to add a unique quality to your vocals. It is similar to the telephone mics in that they are completely passive, so there is no power needed.

The Filter Control has been designed to cut feedback that sometimes occurs when using lo-fidelity microphones. It also provides you with a wider variety of tonal qualities compared to what would typically be available with a standard CB microphone.

The CB itself is a push-to-talk microphone and features a built in push-to-talk switch on the side of the mic (see video below for hands-free usage ideas). One way you can use the switch is to create manual tremolo or chopped vocal effects. This CB also pairs well with distortion/fuzz/overdrive effects as you have more control over extraneous noise or feedback, than you would if effects were used with standard microphones.

The control box that the CB microphone is attached to houses the filter circuitry and 1/4" output jack.

The CB mic itself is used and the control box is New-Old-Stock along with knob and jack. Both CB mic and control box have light scuffs and scratches, nothing severe (no fractures).

Modifications:

1. Filter Knob-can be adjusted to filter/cut out high end frequency and/or unwanted feedback.

2. 1/4" Output Jack-connect to PA, mixer, etc.

Please note as with all Lo Fi Dynamic microphones, this CB has slightly lower output than your standard dynamic mic (SM57, SM58, etc.)

In some cases (depending on the setup the mic is connected to) an ACTIVE D.I. box may be needed. Contact me for more details.

There is a lifetime warranty on this CB mic. If any problems occur within one year I will cover shipping, parts, labor costs. If any problems occur after one year parts and labor costs are covered, shipping is not. If mic is subjected to abnormal abuse, it will not be covered.
