World-renowned for his influential work with Van Halen, Michael Anthony (now playing with Chickenfoot and The Circle) has been rocking the bass around the world for nearly 50 years!

Now available for "5-Stringer's," this bass is quipped with Michael’s own MonsterTone pickup set, with thunderous, focused lows, and with 21 fret access and a 5-piece maple/walnut neck, this bass was built for comfort and playability! The MA-5 sports a rosewood fretboard and a beautiful Koa top.  The neck has been shaped exactly to Michael’s specifications with a Thin “C” profile and the neck joint construction allows easy access to the upper frets. 

With a master volume and a master tone control along with a 3-way toggle switch, the MA-5 delivers complete control of your sound right to your fingertips. Rounding out the black hardware, the WSC bridge and tuners give you incredible stability and can withstand anything you can dish out.
