If you’re hands down looking for the finest luthier built Tele out there, we couldn’t recommend looking into this Lentz built by Scott Jr. more seriously. This model features lots of reserve style specs.; these include one of the finest pieces of Brazilian rosewood that we’ve ever seen on any guitar for that matter. It just has that perfect dark hue, tight grain and balance of brown and orange streaks. The body is 1-Piece cabinet aged Swamp Ash (this is quite literally in the top three loudest and most resident bolt-on solid body guitars we have ever played)

The bridge features brass saddles and the guitar is loaded with high output Lentz-wound pickups; delivering fat early 50’s tonality.

The guitar is absolutely stunning and a monster player w/ 3 1/2 6ths to 4 64ths low action & 10-46 D’Addario NYXL strings. It has been played, but well taken care of. There are some signs of use in the forms of small dings and chips, though the main cosmetic to note is the ever so slightly deep scratch near the butt-end of the guitar. (Luckily it’s in a hidden spot)

This Jr. built Tele also comes with a G&G “Western Brown” HSC.
