1951 Fender Princeton 5A2 8" Combo Amp, Serviced and Ready for another 70 years of Timeless Tone!

This timeless beauty has a tone that goes from soft and woody to full on saggy tweed distortion. At 4 watts its the perfect amp to rock at home and in studio. With two simple controls, volume and tone, you can't get a bad sound out of this amp.
CONDITION: This vintage 1951 Princeton is in Very Good condition. This amp is beautiful cosmetically in its own road worn way. The tweed has been frayed and worn in its 70+ years giving it the classic worn look that cannot be emulated. The grill cloth has been replaced with a nice oxblood cloth that matches the vibe of the amp perfectly. The output transformer has been replaced, but the power transformer is original. A JJ 5Y3S is in the rectifier slot, a RCA Blackplate 6V6 in the power tube, and a vintage USA made 6SL7 in the preamp. The caps have been replaced in the power section but the resistors appear to be original. It still has the original General Electric two prong cord. The original speaker has been swapped out for Altec 403A Extended Range Speaker that sounds heavenly.
