For sale is a Gibson tb-00 conversion banjo. It was originally purchased on June 6, 1939 by RM Richards. This banjo has a wonderful 5 string conversion neck that was built and fitted by Ron Coleman. I would say it is in very good condition considering the age. The neck is mahogany with a rosewood board and plays great. The back of the neck has a subtle but nice sunburst that matches the burst on the resonator. The pot features the original thin rim, flange, and resonator. I believe the armrest to be vintage but likely not original to this instrument. The tailpiece is a Prucha Presto. The hooks, tension hoop, coordinator rod, and thumbscrews are all modern repro of high quality. The tuners are Gotoh and the 5th string peg is unknown but works great. Hardshell case included. This woody is light but has a big sound, The current bridge is a scorpion 5/8 Crowe spacing, but there are a few others you can choose from. Please don't hesitate to reach out if for more information.
