This is a brand new lap steel made by Shad Peters, an excellent quality lap steel in solid walnut. This was ordered on 5/30/24 and received on 11/15/24. Just a couple weeks shy of 6 months to build, not the 6-8 weeks as advertised, I assume because he does all the work himself and he explained to me back in August he was swamped with work. Well my circumstances have changed and I am offering it up for sale as a brand new instrument which it is. Taken out of the box and checked out and put back in. If I would've ordered on Reverb, I could've been able to return it because it was within the 2 week envelope but unfortunately I did it off his website and no such luck.

The Peters 8 string lap steel comes std with:-Walnut body-roasted oak fretboard-Gotoh tuners-Paf style low wind pickup -single volume control - Peters 8 string bridge (machined right here in the shop) -Peters 3 string bender
