This 1963 Stratocaster is a very excellent and all original example minus the body only refinish by the talented Joe Riggio in an aged Inca Silver.

The pickups read a strong 5.7 OHMs and are absolutely sparkling and expressive. All the electronics are original and the solder points are untouched save the input jack wires have been replaced with Fender vintage cloth wiring but the originals are included.

The only non original piece of hardware is the double line high E tuner, while easy to source a period correct one it seemed like it works fine and felt cheeky enough to leave on. Happy to source one for a buyer should you like. All of the plastics are original, pickguard, knobs and switch tip, but there is no back plate.

The guitar arrived to me as a stripped and complete guitar, with no additional routing and retaining its original body contours. This Strat weighs about 7.2lbs.and retains its original 9/63 body date under the tremolo springs. 100% of the neck finish is intact as well as the original decal. The neck is nice and ambered with only minimal play wear.

I am happy to provide photos of the stripped body as well upon request.

The neck stamp is clear and unaltered, although it’s missing the nut width lettering, that is not uncommon occasionally it was omitted. This neck measures right down the middle of what most consider one of the best neck profiles that Fender ever offered. The neck has its original finish and decal with the 1-5/8th nut, 1st fret is right at .83" and the 12th fret is just 1" in depth.

The magnificent refinish plays so many ways in different lights and is so very faithful with just enough relic to honor its age.

Included is the original hardshell case.

I’m always happy to ship internationally.
