A really cool and rare Made in Japan Guitar. Its a 1967 Firstman made Mosrite Model 65 with the Moseley Tailpiece and Mosrite Pickups..Super RARE...only one of a dozen made with the Maple Fretboard..

These guitars were an early reissue of the 1965 Ventures Model. This guitar just got back from our Tech with a new set of 10 gauge Dr Ducks Strings. He has it playing great with nice low action on the neck. These guitars do not have the super skinny frets like the USA models did. They are a little larger which aid in bending notes. I like these frets and they still have plenty of life in them.

The guitar has a 24 1/2 inch scale neck and the nut measures a narrower 1 5/8 inches. Nice skinny neck profile we all reconize as Mosrite. The guitar is very solid. It weighs 8 lbs 10 ozs. Not a lightweight guitar!

The guitar was played...a lot... It has some bangs and scrapes. Otherwise, the Sunburst Finish is just beautiful. The pickguard is in great shape with no cracks and the guitar is all original! Love the Moseley Tailpiece. The Vibrato even keeps the guitar in tune...mostly.. Its not designed for dive bombing. Be aware!! Check out those tuners. We have never seen those before. Very cool. Also, super rare to have a Maple fretboard on a Mosrite. They did very very few of these. We had never seen one before! Very cool look!

The Truss rod works as it should and the guitar sounds great. Just like the Mosrites we all remember! The Mosrite Pickups are full and strong. Playing that bridge pickup will have you sounding just like the Ventures on Pipeline!!

We didn't get the original case with it so we are including athe shown, Brand new Crossrock Deluxe gigbag we have with it.
