Yamaha PSS-480 digital synthesizer

this is a great little 2 operator digital FM synthesizer from the late 80s. it was intended for the home market, so it gives the impression of a toy with mini keys and built-in speakers. however, this is a legit FM synth that allows access to parameters like modulator and carrier frequency, mod amount, feedback amount, and envelope controls for the attack and decay stages of either the modulator and carrier. there are 5 memory slots for user patches as well, so you can save your own sounds. it also has a built-in accompaniment section with bass, orchestra, and arpeggio parts that can all be overwritten with MIDI, and PCM sampled drums as well. included in the sale are the keyboard, power adapter, and the original box. The keyboard is in excellent cosmetic condition and it works perfectly.
