Here's a rare opportunity to pick up a Mosrite made directly by founder Semie Moseley himself. According to old sales and forum posts, there are around 40 of these Mark VIII guitars that were made in North Carolina in August of 1984. They rarely come up for sale, and most are black or one of the sunburst variants. This one is a striking 'Storm Grey' color that really makes the guitar stand out.
Here is a blog post from about 10 years ago highlighting one of these models: tymguitars.com.au/blogs/blog/14895445-1984-mosrite-viii
The guitar itself is in wonderful condition and shows almost no playwear. The finish has a decent amount of checking that adds to the character, with the paint still retaining its shine. The electronics feature 3 pickups with individual toggle switches, and a single volume knob. Everything looks original and untouched with the exception of the new strings. Good clean switches, pot, and jack with no issues. Comes with the original hardcase in excellent condition.
