Steve’s Notes: This drum is from my personal collection.

Johnny Craviotto’s world class solid shell drums have always been in high demand both for their visual beauty and their sonic perfection. The drum I am offering here is one of the small run of 25 drums that Johnny did for me. These were 4x14 Timeless Timber Birch. The Timeless Timber wood was harvested when the trees were about 600 years old, and many logs sunk to the bottom of Lake Superior as they were being transported. Johnny obtained the rights to this wood for the percussion industry, and he created some true masterpieces that are among the most collectible snares ever. This drum is from 2003 and has all nickel plated hardware and rims engraved by John Aldridge. The strainer is the Nickelworks strainer, (which was State of The Art at the time), but the hole pattern will fit a Trick GS007 if you decide to swap it out.
