If you have in import guitar, the mounting shaft of the original pots are likely smaller than those of the CTS pots. Asian pots typically have 8mm diameter 16-splines coarse mounting shafts. These CTS pots made in the USA have 3/8" diameter 24-spline fine mounting shafts. You will likely need a reamer to enlarge the pot holes in order to install these CTS pots and new knobs. Both the reamer and knobs can be purchased separately.
