A nice, 1940's era I would guess, Unmarked-Supro-National Valco style Lap Steel Guitar with original case offered for sale here.

This Unmarked-Supro-National Lap Steel Guitar is in overall very good condition for it's age. I did some research and it appears that this lap steel may share a lineage with Supro/National, from some photos I have found on Reverb, see the last two photos in the listing, the body style and overall look and vibe seem similar to them. The lap steel is in very good condition for its age, the Mother of Pearl finish is in very good condition with very little wear, and only a small lifting of the Mother of Pearl covering that I tried to show in the 8th photo (the flash from the digital camera sometimes brings out marks that are not visible to the naked eye). The pickup works well as heard in the You Tube video, I did not remove the pickup cover so I don't what it looks like uncovered, suffice to say it works. The pickup has the single coil hum goiing on but if you turn away from the amp at the proper angle it is less evident. The volume control works well, the tone control knob does not move, it appears to be in the high gain position from the tone output in the video. I'll leave it up to the buyer to replace it if they so desire. I lubed the tuners and they work and hold tune well, the covers over the gear portion of the tuners on the back of the headstock are a nice touch. The bridge cover is made of wood, not something you see all that often if at all, it might be a sign that this is a very early model of this guitar or a one off. As is the case with many early lap steel guitars the cord is attached through a hole in the body with a normal 1/4 guitar jack on the end for connection to an amp. The volume and tone knobs are not original they are new. A vintage Stevens AP&M Lap Steel Slide Bar is included in the sale.

The guitar case is in overall good condition, a bit worn on the outside, and the hinges and latches work well.

The pictures pretty much tell the story, if you have any questions pertaining to the Unmarked-Supro-National Lap Steel Guitar feel free to ask them.  I have described this guitar and its condition accurately and am selling the guitar and case as is with no returns due to their age and vintage condition.
