Handmade headless seven string multiscale tremolo solid body electric guitar featuring a buckeye burl top and swamp ash body with a 9 piece laminated neck. This guitar is ready for all your musical adventures.

The neck is a nine piece lamination featuring purpleheart, maple, and mahogany. The neck laminations are tapered to match the neck taper, resulting in a sleek look. Purpleheart is among the stiffest woods available for luthiery, ensuring stability despite the extra tension of 7 strings. The fretboard is purpleheart, with burl fret position markers that match the body top, and 24 frets. The fretboard is laid out on a 25.5" to 26.75" multiscale, with a perpendicular 12th fret. The frets are medium and the neck is a medium asymmetrical profile. The body is made from swamp ash harvested right outside the door to our shop, and is topped with an amazing piece of buckeye burl that features a huge variety of colors and textures, including plenty of the steel-blue color that buckeye burl is so famous for. The burl top has been stabilized with penetrating epoxy and judicious use of fiberglass and carbon fiber laminated within the body, allowing for a beautiful instrument without the need to be concerned over durability or stability.

This guitar features a Sophia 2:92 GT Pro bridge, with essentially every upgrade available from Sophia - dual stabilizers, a lockable quicktune global tuner thumbwheel, chrome baseplate with natural stainless tuners and natural knobs, a drop tuner on the low B string, and titanium locking risers. This is an incredibly capable bridge and the combination of dual stabilizers, thumbwheel, and drop tuner allow a huge amount of on the fly flexibility.

The single pickup is a shop made handwound four coil design. Don't let the "single" pickup scare you off - the four coils are wired independently of each other, allowing a huge amount of flexibility. The controls feature a basic master volume and tone setup, plus a three position coil select switch and a smaller two position mode select switch. The mode select switch essentially changes the behavior of the coil select switch. The first position allows the select switch to function like a traditional two humbucker switch, with neck, both, and bridge modes. In this mode, the guitar behaves exactly like a traditional LP or other two humbucker guitar. The second position causes the select switch to toggle between inner, outer, and all-on selections. In this mode, the guitar can emulate a Telecaster, a Strat on position 2, or a Strat on position 4. This pickup is overwound with 41 gauge wire and features ceramic magnets, allowing high output and the type of clarity needed for heavy use of distortion or fuzz. Run this through any combination of pedals or amps you need to, and if the tone gets muddy, it's not the pickup's fault! The pickup is cased in a combination of purpleheart and buckeye burl, matching the construction of the rest of the guitar.

The hidden control cavity is shielded with copper tape and is accessed through removing the output jack plate - there is no separate control cavity cover. This allows for an ultra clean and uninterrupted appearance front and back. The headpiece is aluminum and drilled for easy access to the dual action truss rod. The jack plate, head piece, and aluminum nut are made in our shop.

The guitar is strung with Ernie Ball strings. It has been finished with a hand rubbed oil and wax finish, and buffed to a satin sheen. This gives a nice warm glow and retains the look and feel of natural wood.
